Twelve Trials of Triskelion – Week 02 2015!!

24 May 2015 in Announcements

It’s the Twelve Trials of Triskelion, week 02 of 2015, thralls!

Once again, our leader has provided instructions –

For the Week Two Square Dance Challenge, you will continue to work your reviewing muscles with a team of your peers!  Starting on May 24th, this challenge pits team against team.  You will be divided up equitably and sensibly to maximize your effectiveness and your job is to assign a story and a review to the next person in your team, then they assign the next and so on.

You may choose to do this via a system, ie, a set order for your group.  Or you may choose to just go chaotic, but you cannot skip anyone; everyone has to get a turn to dance each round.

Stories passed on must not have been reviewed by the person they’re being passed to before.  They must be 5000 or less, or they may be the 5000 or less first chapter of a larger story.  Once a person has started a story, you may assign them the next chapter if they so choose to continue it.  The key here is communication.

Team scores are on straight up review word count.  So get in depth, meta at the author and really leave quality reviews.  Whichever team has the highest score at the end of the week wins!  Your assignments will be handed out sometime in the middle of Week 1, so that you can coordinate how to tackle week two.

Teams: To be determined.

So get ready to review! And put that phaser down. It’s all fun and games until the phasers come out.

Square Dance signups are here.

Shanna’s Kiss Review: Good use of lower lip in particular, but breath was slightly redolent of those little colored cubes he eats. 7.3.

Twelve Trials 2014 – Review Square dance

Week 02

The second week of the Twelve Trials of Triskelion (2014 edition) is upon us, Thralls! It is all about the reviews. This is the give and take of the Ad Astra Star Trek Fan Fiction website. We don’t just write stories, and we don’t just read them. We review them thoughtfully, too! And the Twelve Trials of Triskelion is all about boosting the number of reviews even higher.

Week 02 is the Review Square dance – Square Dance – Pick a partner, go round and round! Depending on the number of participants, we will break groups into a team of 4 (or 5) members. Read a story, review, pass a link onto the next person. Team who has the best reviews at the end of the week (via word count) wins the banner!

Have you ever wondered just why the fiction on Ad Astra has so many reviews? This is one of the reasons.

Have some fun, Thralls.

Dance Partners await! I hear the seated guy cuts a mean rug, but maybe it’s just with one of those spears.
